BH06287: The Tongue of Grandeur speaks this most exalted word…

He is the One Who speaks in the Kingdom of Utterance.

The Tongue of Grandeur speaks this most exalted word in the Kingdom of Utterance:

“O concourse of earth and heaven! He has come Who was treasured in the treasuries of infallibility, hidden in the repositories of grandeur, preserved in the breasts of the chosen ones, and inscribed by the Most Exalted Pen in the Books of God, the Lord of the worlds.”

O Muhammad-i-Rida, when thou hearest My call and what My tongue has uttered, say:

“My God, my God! Praise be to Thee for having enabled me to attain unto the traces of Thy Most Exalted Pen and adorned me with the ornament of faith in the realm of possibilities. I beseech Thee by the ocean of Thy knowledge and the heaven of Thy bounty to aid me to remain steadfast in Thy Cause. O my Lord! I am he who has sought Thy nearness and Thy presence, to stand before Thy throne and at the door of Thy grandeur. Wouldst Thou turn away from Thy door him who hopes in Thee, or disappoint him in what he seeks from the wonders of Thy grace and favors? I beseech Thee by the Kawthar of Life which has flowed from Thy Pen through Thy Will and Purpose to ordain for me the reward of attaining Thy presence. I testify that Thou art the One with power over whatsoever Thou willest. There is none other God but Thee, the Protector, the Self-Subsisting.”

BH06677: The Fire hath spoken from the Blessed Tree…

He is the All-Seeing, the All-Informed.

The Fire hath spoken from the Blessed Tree, and the Intended One hath come with might and power. Before His face marcheth the knowledge that there is none other God but Him, the One, the Chosen. O peoples of the earth! Hearken unto the Call that hath been raised from the Most Exalted Pen. Beware lest the hosts of idle fancies prevent you. Cast away what the people possess and take hold of that which ye have been commanded by God, the Almighty, the Powerful, the All-Bountiful. The world hath been illumined with the lights of the Manifestation, yet the people have turned away, having followed every deluded impostor. We have heard thy mention and have made mention of thee in a Tablet from whose horizon shineth the light of thy Lord’s loving-kindness, the Lord of all men.

That which was hidden from all eyes hath been revealed, as witnesseth the Mother Book. It speaketh before all faces, saying: “The veils have been rent asunder and the All-Bountiful hath come with power and sovereignty.” Thus have We caused thee to hear the scritching of My Most Exalted Pen, that thou mayest thank thy Lord, the Almighty, the Supreme, the Powerful, the All-Forgiving. God hath heard thy call and answered thee through His grace. Be thankful and say: “Praise be unto Thee, O Master of existence, and glorified be Thou, O Lord of Lords!”

BH06527: Hearken unto the remembrance of God in the Persian…

He is the Hearer and the Seer.

Hearken unto the remembrance of God in the Persian tongue. The whole world hath been brought from nothingness into being for the specific purpose of recognizing this Most Great Revelation. The True One hath appeared in the Kingdom of verses and hath called out to all, guiding them to the highest horizon. However, the divines of Iran have forbidden the people from turning towards it, and have issued the decree for the shedding of the pure blood of the Lord of mankind. They have committed that which hath caused the Mother Book to weep. We beseech God that He may guide all and cause them to attain the highest horizon. He is the Powerful, the Mighty. In every land the croaking is raised and shall continue to be raised. Blessed are they whom neither the world nor the nations have prevented from the Straight Path. These are the treasures of the earth and the riches of its countries. Blessed are they and joy be unto them, and happy and wholesome be it unto you, from God, the Lord of Lords. Praise be unto the Goal of the worlds Who hath mentioned thee and illumined thee with the lights of the Luminary of His Cause.

BH06599: God testifieth that there is none other God but…

He is the Hearer, the Answerer!

God testifieth that there is none other God but Him and that He Who hath come from the heaven of grace is the Most Great Name through Whom the mysteries have been revealed and the traces have appeared. Whoso holdeth fast unto Him hath held fast unto God, and whoso turneth unto Him hath turned unto the Most Sublime Horizon, and whoso turneth away from Him hath turned away from God, the Lord of all worlds. Thy letter reached the Most Holy Court. We heard thy call, and there descended from the heaven of divine mercy and lordly favor that which shall endure as long as the eternal kingdom shall endure. We beseech God to assist thee in that which causeth the perpetuation of mention and name. Say:

My God, my God! I beseech Thee by Thy Name through which Thou didst subdue the world and unite the nations, and by the influences of Thy Most Exalted Pen and the manifestations of Thy power in the kingdom of creation, to forgive me and my parents. O my Lord! Thou seest me turning toward Thee, looking unto Thy horizon. I beseech Thee to ordain for me the good of the hereafter and the present, and that which shall profit me in all Thy worlds, O Thou Lord of all beings! There is none other God but Thee, the All-Forgiving, the All-Bountiful.

BH06669: O Karbila’i Ramadan, upon him be the Glory…

O Karbila’i Ramadan, upon him be the Glory of God! He is the Desired One in the beginning and in the end.

The gate of attainment unto His presence hath been opened before all who dwell on earth and in heaven, and the nightingales of utterance have warbled upon the branches. The Desired One hath come from the horizon of might with proof and testimony. How many a servant hath heard and hastened with his heart unto God, the Lord of all men, and how many a servant hath heard and turned away—verily, he is among the worshippers of idle fancies.

Thy name was mentioned in the presence of the Wronged One, Who hath remembered thee with the Pen before which all pens have bowed down. When thou attainest unto His verses and findest the fragrance of revelation from His manifestations, say:

“My God, my God! Aid me to turn unto Thee and to be detached from all else but Thee. Then cause me to drink the wine of steadfastness from the hand of Thy bounty. I beseech Thee, O Lord of the world and Subduer of nations, to make me in all conditions one who speaketh Thy praise and remembrance and who gazeth toward Thy horizon. Then write down for me that which shall make me mighty through Thy might and uprising to serve Thy loved ones. Verily Thou art the Omnipotent over whatsoever Thou willest, and within Thy grasp is the dominion of all who are in the heavens and on earth.”

BH07218: Say: In the name of God and by God!…

He is the Hearer, the Answerer.

Say: In the name of God and by God! Take thou the chalice of utterance in the name of thy Lord, the All-Merciful. Then drink from it at times in My Name, at others in remembrance of Me, and yet again for love of Me, the Mighty, the Wondrous. Cast aside vain imaginings beneath thy feet. Say: O people of the Bayan! The All-Merciful hath come with the lights of certitude. Cast aside what the people possess and take what ye are commanded by God, the Lord of the worlds. Beware lest the conditions of creation hold you back from the Truth. Cast aside what the people have, clinging fast to the cord of God, the Mighty, the Praiseworthy. This is the Day wherein the Day itself proclaimeth with its most exalted call, saying:

“O peoples of the earth! He Who is the Lord of Days hath come with a Cause before which neither the hosts of the heavens nor of the earth can stand. Turn with your hearts unto God, the Lord of the Day of Judgment.”

Thus hath the Tongue of the Wronged One spoken in the Most Great Prison because of what the hands of the oppressors have wrought. The Glory from Us be upon thee and upon all who are steadfast and firm, and all who are established and trustworthy.

BH07130: The Wronged One hath heard thy call and hath…

He is the One Who speaketh in the Kingdom of Utterance.

The Wronged One hath heard thy call and hath answered thee with this perspicuous Tablet whereby the world hath testified before the faces of all nations that there is none other God but Him, the Single, the One, the All-Knowing, the All-Informed. The Wronged One summoned the people to the All-Compelling, the Self-Subsisting, in days wherein the tribes wailed in fear of God, the Lord of all worlds. When the rays of light had encompassed the horizons of all lands, a band of wolves emerged from behind the veil and desired to shed My blood without any proof from God, the All-Knowing, the All-Wise.

Among the people are those who turned towards and then away from Us due to the doubts of the dubious ones. Say: Where is your steadfastness and where is your faithfulness? Fear God and be not among the wrongdoers. We aided the Cause on a day wherein the limbs of all names trembled before the onslaught of the transgressors. We beseech God at the end of this epistle to assist thee to help the Wronged One through the standards of wisdom and utterance and the hosts of remembrance and exposition. Verily, He is powerful over all things.

BH07835: Nothing escapes His knowledge. He witnesses and sees…

He is the All-Seeing, the All-Informed.

Nothing escapes His knowledge. He witnesses and sees, and He is the All-Knowing, the All-Informed. He has appeared and made manifest His straight path, and guided all to that which profits them. Among the people are those who have turned towards Him, and among them are those who have turned away, and among them are those who have openly denied God, the All-Knowing, the All-Wise. He who loves Me has mentioned thee, so We have remembered thee in a perspicuous Tablet which speaks before the faces of the world: “The Kingdom belongs to God, the Mighty, the Praiseworthy.” Blessed is he who has heard and attained. Woe to the heedless! Vain imaginings have prevented those on earth from drawing nigh unto God, the Lord of all worlds. They have taken their idle fancies as lords beside God. Verily, they are among the perishing ones. The verses have been sent down and the evidence has appeared, yet most of the people are in evident delusion. Give thanks to God, thy Lord, for having remembered thee and revealed unto thee that whereby the eyes of those endued with understanding are solaced. Praise be to God, thy Lord and the Lord of the mighty throne!

BH08367: In the Name of Him through Whom the Sun…

In the Name of Him through Whom the Sun of Utterance has dawned forth from the horizon of contingent being!

Say: O my God, my God! I am Thy servant and the son of Thy servant. I bear witness to that which the tongue of Thy utterance hath testified in the heaven of Thy knowledge, and to that which Thou hast sent down in Thy Books and Thy Scriptures and Thy Tablets. I have turned toward Thee in Thy days and have desired the wonders of Thy grace and the traces of Thy Pen. I beseech Thee by the suns of the heavens of Thy gifts and favors, and by the pearls hidden in the sea of Thy knowledge and wisdom, to ordain for me that which will solace mine eyes, gladden my heart and dilate my breast. O Lord! Change my weakness into strength through Thy power, and my agitation into tranquility through Thy assurance, in such wise that the mutterings of the oppressors and the clamoring of the deniers may not hold me back. Then I beseech Thee by the lights of Thy countenance to ordain for me what Thou hast ordained for Thy trusted ones and Thy chosen ones. Verily, Thou art the One Who hath power over whatsoever Thou willest. There is none other God but Thee, the Single, the One, the All-Knowing, the All-Informed.

BH08973: Say: My God, my God! Praise be to Thee…

He is the All-Seeing, the All-Informed

Say: My God, my God! Praise be to Thee for having guided me to Thy straight path and made me aware of Thy mighty announcement. I beseech Thee by Thy greatest signs and the manifestations of Thy Cause in the kingdom of creation, and by the wisdom which Thou hast made a fortress for the protection of Thy servants and a city for the safeguarding of Thy creation, to make me steadfast in Thy love and firm in Thy Cause in such wise that neither the lowing of any calf nor the croaking of any crow nor the swords of those who have arisen to extinguish Thy light shall prevent me. Verily Thou art powerful over whatsoever Thou willest. There is no God but Thee, the Forgiving, the Generous.

O God! Send Thy blessings upon Thy loved ones who have taken hold of Thy Book and uttered Thy praise before the faces of Thy creatures. O Lord! Aid them through Thy grace and assist them in that which befitteth Thy days. Verily Thou art the Mighty, the Triumphant, the All-Powerful.

BH09136: O Ali! Today the Tree of Utterance, which hath…

He is God, exalted be His glory in wisdom and utterance!

O Ali! Today the Tree of Utterance, which hath been planted by the hand of grace in the highest Paradise, speaketh forth this most sublime Word:

“O peoples of the earth! The Lord of all names hath come, the Sovereign! Hearken unto His call, and deprive not yourselves from serving Him, nor your faces from turning unto the splendors of His countenance, nor your hearts from drawing nigh unto His horizon, nor your ears from hearkening unto His call, nor your hands from taking hold of His Book, nor your feet from arising to carry out that which ye have been commanded in His perspicuous Book.”

Blessed art thou, O Ali, for having attained unto His traces and turned towards Him at a time when every heedless and distant one, every dubious learned one, and every stubborn ruler turned away from Him.

BH09327: God, glorified be His majesty, beareth witness unto His…

In His Name, the All-Subduing Lord of Names!

God, glorified be His majesty, beareth witness unto His oneness, and this Wronged One testifieth to that which hath been sent down aforetime and afterward from the heaven of divine wisdom in the Book of God. Blessed is the soul that hath attained and hearkened unto the divine call; such a one is reckoned among them that are nigh in the perspicuous Book. Thy name was present before Our face in the Most Great Prison, and this Most Holy, Most Exalted Tablet hath been revealed especially for thee, that thou mayest know and be among the thankful. We send greetings to the friends of God and counsel all to fear God and to that which conduceth to the exaltation of His Word. Glory be upon thee and upon the sincere servants of God.
