O Habib! The Beloved saith that that the seekers after this most great divine Heaven requireth ascending steps that one may tread thereon and attain unto the habitations of imperishable glory and the most exalted holy seats, and may gallop, detached from all else, in this arena. In such wise, rarely are found such temples who mount the wings of detachment and seek ascent unto the heaven of exaltation. By God! One soul from among these essences of being is, in the sight of God, greater and more honored than countless souls. Firm and steadfast steps are needed to tread upon the heads of those ancient idols which people have taken besides God, and to enter the Pole of Paradise, in the shadow of whose leaf all infinite paradises dwell.
Say: The Holy Paradise hath appeared in the Most Great Paradise. Can there be found a Paradise greater than the Paradise of thy Most Glorious Lord? Nay, by My Most Exalted Beauty! Thus hath Paradise been created in the origination of this time, but most of the people perceive not.
In this case, one must purify one’s vision from the acceptance or rejection of all, and at all times promote the imperative Cause of the All-Merciful, the Sovereign of possibility, with pure utterance. Whoso believeth, it is to his own benefit, and whoso turneth away—verily the Fire is the abode of them that turn aside. Sufficient is this abasement for those who turn away, that they have taken a non-existent thing as their object of worship and deemed it worthy of adoration, while they remain veiled from and turn away from the Sovereign Purpose Who disdaineth to attribute the station of created things to these servants in the name of their Creator.
And this glad-tiding hath been sent down from the heaven of the Throne, which I am to convey to that honored one: O beloved! I have breathed My merciful Spirit into thy spirit. Speak thou unveiled and unhindered, and by My power and might, raise such a cry in this perishable world that all created things and possibilities may be shaken and trembled. By God! These are the days of the Most Great Earthquake, the Most Great Trump, the Most Noble Breath, and the Most Glorious Blast. Blow thou the trumpet between earth and heaven, and regard all things as like unto a handful of clay, nay, more insignificant than that, for they are as nothing except for those who have freed themselves from all else and turned their faces toward My Face in this shining, wondrous, luminous and radiant Temple.
