BH07287: This is a Book wherein the Dove warbleth…

He is the Mighty.

This is a Book wherein the Dove warbleth with melodies of glorious love, and reciteth unto all created things the verses of separation. This is an ordinance from the presence of the Mighty, the Self-Subsisting King. Grieve thou not at the grief of this day, neither be thou dismayed by this most great dismay and this supreme anxiety. Put thy trust in God, the Mighty, the Praised. Fear thou no one, and sorrow not over anything. Verily that which We had ordained for thee in previous Tablets hath been fulfilled in truth, and this is what hath been inscribed in a preserved and glorious Book, wherein the destinies of all things have been decreed, did ye but know. Remind thou the servants at all times, and be not perturbed by any matter. Then walk thou in the path of truth, for this is better for thee than all that was and shall be. God shall soon exalt His Cause in truth, and make His words to prevail, and manifest His proof.

He, verily, is the King, the Sovereign, the Guardian, the Self-Subsisting. And the Spirit be upon thee and upon those who walk in the ways of God and are not dismayed.

BH04131: Aqa in Shin

Aqa in Shin

He is the Glorious!

Hearken to what the departing Dove revealeth unto thee, as He prepareth to leave the realm of ʿIraq—such are the methods of God decreed for His Messengers. Let this not cause thee sorrow. Put thy trust in thy Lord and the Lord of thy forefathers…. Those who are endowed with the insight of the spirit are independent of all that was and shall be created, and are able to behold the mysteries of the Cause behind the thickest veils. Say, O beloved of God! Fear none and let nothing grieve thee; be steadfast in the Cause. By God, those who have drunk of the love of God, the Glorious, the Effulgent, have no fear of anyone, and show patience in calamity, like unto the patience of the lover toward the good pleasure of the beloved.

With them affliction ranketh greater than that which the lovers perceive in the countenance of the beloved. Say, O concourse of evil-doers! Erelong the Cause of God will, in truth, be exalted, and the standards of those who join partners with God will perish, and the people shall enter the Faith of God, the Sovereign, the Supreme, the Ancient of Days. Well is it with those who have now hastened forth in the love of God and received the tidings of the breath of the Holy Spirit. Glory be unto you, O concourse of believers in the unity of God.

Know then that thy letter hath reached Us, and We have given this reply to create in thy heart the warmth of yearning, to cause thee to turn to the paradise of this resplendent Name, to make thee detached from all, and to enable thee to soar to such heights as have not been attained by the wings of the worldly-wise who are not under the shadow of God’s countenance and who are indeed of the perplexed.

BH04974: O letter Fa in the realm of Baha! Hearken…

He is the Almighty

O letter Fa in the realm of Baha! Hearken thou to My call at this time when tears are flowing down luminous holy cheeks, when the hearts of the people of Paradise are trembling and tender hearts of glory have melted, by reason of what has befallen the Name that hath preceded all names from time immemorial, even as was revealed aforetime upon the tongue of the temples of Ahmadian holiness in the prayer which the Imams of the Faith would recite on the luminous Nights of Power. Thus have We removed for thee the veil of the Cause that thou mayest be steadfast in love.

Well is it with thee that in these latter days thy missives have reached the unseen hosts of might and the party of exalted light, and by this thy name hath been inscribed among the emigrants in wondrous tablets of glory. God shall soon exalt thy name in truth and join thee with the beauty of a radiant countenance.

We had written thee before the Book of the Spirit wherein We revealed eloquent verses of nearness and wherein We detailed every matter in detail, and it shall reach thee in truth—this is what hath been inscribed in a preserved tablet of glory. And We commanded thee therein to remind the people in these days when the Beauty of the All-Merciful hath mounted the Buraq of the Cause, by reason of what the hands of the wicked unbelievers have wrought.

And glory and the Spirit be upon thee and upon those who hearken to thy words concerning the Cause of thy Lord and who remain faithful to the Covenant.
